Rotterdam is where every capability is proven first — from berth planning to shore power. As our only directly operated terminal, it's the standard we hold ourselves to, and the benchmark our subleasing partners work alongside.
It combines transhipment, petroleum storage and dry bulk storage on one footprint with direct hinterland connections. Every capability offered through our partner sublease locations was proven here first.
Hanno Rotterdam works with refiners, traders, bulk shippers, barge operators and rail hauliers — providing tank storage, dry bulk stockpiling and berth-to-berth transhipment tailored to crude, refined product, chemical and bulk mineral cargo.
Rotterdam's berths are built to take large tankers and bulk carriers without tidal restriction, with mooring and fendering inspected on a fixed maintenance cycle.
Petroleum tank storage and dry bulk stockpile areas share the same site, connected by internal pipeline and conveyor networks that keep transfer times short between berth and storage.
Direct berth access for ocean-going vessels
Inland waterway access into Germany and beyond
Direct rail sidings for bulk and container transfer
N15 motorway access to the wider Netherlands
Every visitor, contractor and vessel crew member follows the same induction and PPE requirements before setting foot on the terminal.
Our HSE Standards
Rotterdam is our shore power flagship site, cutting at-berth emissions for vessels that stay connected during loading or discharge.
