Hanno Rotterdam BV

Rotterdam Terminal (Flagship)

Rotterdam is where Hanno started in 1938 — our head office and flagship terminal, positioned on the Maasvlakte at the seaward edge of the Port of Rotterdam.

Six deep-water berths handle petroleum and dry bulk cargo around the clock, with direct pipeline, conveyor, barge, rail and road connections into Europe's hinterland.

Our vision for this terminal

Rotterdam is where every capability is proven first — from berth planning to shore power. As our only directly operated terminal, it's the standard we hold ourselves to, and the benchmark our subleasing partners work alongside.

Terminal Overview

The terminal the rest of the network is built around

It combines transhipment, petroleum storage and dry bulk storage on one footprint with direct hinterland connections. Every capability offered through our partner sublease locations was proven here first.

We offer capabilities for a wide range of cargo

Hanno Rotterdam works with refiners, traders, bulk shippers, barge operators and rail hauliers — providing tank storage, dry bulk stockpiling and berth-to-berth transhipment tailored to crude, refined product, chemical and bulk mineral cargo.

Berths & Jetties

Deep-water access built for today's vessels

Rotterdam's berths are built to take large tankers and bulk carriers without tidal restriction, with mooring and fendering inspected on a fixed maintenance cycle.

  • Multiple deep-water berths, no tidal lock
  • Scheduled fendering and mooring inspections
  • Pipeline manifolds direct to tank farm

Tanks and stockpiles, side by side

Petroleum tank storage and dry bulk stockpile areas share the same site, connected by internal pipeline and conveyor networks that keep transfer times short between berth and storage.

  • Segregated tanks for crude, product and chemical grades
  • Covered dry bulk storage for moisture-sensitive cargo
